About Donald Judd Furniture

Donald Judd Furniture comprises Donald Judd’s furniture designs from 1970 to 1992 currently in production. It brings together drawings, breakdowns of materials, and color photography, detailing over one hundred pieces of his furniture, designed for Judd’s living and working spaces at 101 Spring Street and in Presidio County, Texas. As well as surveying a central aspect of his work, it details Judd’s understanding of functionality, form, and his deep interest in the possibilities of design in a world of mass-production.

The publication of Donald Judd Furniture marks the beginnings of a new partnership between MACK and the Judd Foundation, which will bring about an exciting events programme around Judd’s indelible work and legacy, as well as making the critically acclaimed volume Donald Judd Spaces available globally.
